Build strength after you have been released from physical therapy. Already doing cardio? Add specific, targeted strength exercises to round out your program.

Personal Training with Anne McCraine

Some of the benefits reported by my clients:

  • Stronger muscles
  • Weight loss (or improved body composition)*
  • Improved balance
  • Quicker recovery from activities like hiking, gardening, biking
  • Increased range of motion
  • Improved mobility
  • Reduced stress

*Often clients tell me their goal is “weight loss” when what they are really after is improved body composition, meaning your ratio of lean muscle mass to fat has changed for the better. Client “M.M.” started training with me five years ago, meeting with me three times a week for yoga, Pilates and personal training. Within weeks she noticed improved strength, and her friends commented that she looked younger and thinner. After six months her work clothes were hanging off of her and she bought new suits. She had not “lost weight”, but improved her body composition, and increased her strength and flexibility.

Rick in personal training with Anne McCraineI start every week with Anne. She is a joy. Building strength, healing injuries, massage, you name it. All done with humor and caring that makes it enjoyable, even when the work is hard. When it comes to taking care of my body, she’s first on the list. I combine my sessions with Anne, weekly Pilates and lots of cardio workouts and feel great.
