Hand Exercises To Relieve Arthritis Pain

One of my clients just mentioned that his wife is suffering from painful and swollen knuckles due to arthritis. He asked me about exercises she can do to alleviate this pain, and I showed him this video. While I initially made this video for a client who plays guitar, these moves are beneficial for anyone looking to improve strength, flexibility and mobility, or to reduce pain in their hands, wrists and shoulders. Check it out and let me know what you think in the comments below, or share this with a loved one suffering from arthritis pain.

Rid your body of stress and pain by tapping into the power of your brain. Learn how to naturally reduce stress and pain, to let you move with ease and joy. Regain your edge in sports and activities that you thought were waning due to aging. Grow new pathways in your brain to improve memory and neuroplasticity. Discover the benefits of Hanna Clinical Somatics with Kristin Jackson, Hanna Somatic Educator!

Our brain controls our muscles; if we get habitually stuck in faulty patterns, we can end up with a long list of health issues. Hanna Somatics goes to the root of your pain and faulty patterns: your brain! By exploring how we currently move, we can learn how to move with more ease by voluntarily learning to release tight muscles, and have better control of them.

Case Study – Natural Pain Relief For Bunions

“For the first time in the past eight years I can walk long distances (8-10) miles without nerve pain in my right foot.”

Susan toes May 2013

Do you suffer from bunions, hammer toes, plantar fasciitis or other painful foot ailments? Did you know there are natural, non invasive alternatives to surgery? Check out this success story…

Susan has received monthly massages from me for the past two years. When I first met her she suffered from debilitating foot pain due to bunions. She was not interested in the traditional medical solution which includes surgery and a long recovery period that would require her to be off her feet for weeks. In April of 2012 she purchased Correct Toes from me and started wearing them for a few minutes a day.

In three months she worked her way up to at least a half hour a day, usually wearing them on her daily walks.

Now for the first time in her adult life there is space between her big toe and second toe. She has improved her foot health and decreased her pain to the extent that she was able to hike long distances on her recent trip to Europe.

Here is a more recent photo of her feet in July of 2014. Notice the difference? More space between her big toe and second toe and, especially the foot on the left, her big toe points straight forward instead of to the side. Plus her bunion is much less pronounced.
