This workshop is suitable for all feet, whether you are currently experiencing pain, or not.

You will need a dish tub large enough to soak your feet, or two towels, a stretchy band, and a tennis ball, bouncy ball or small massage ball.

Snowboarding Dino

Have you seen this video of the snowboarding dinosaur?
If you need a lil pick me up watch this short video right now.

I love how she talks to herself really sweetly. “I might fall, and that’s ok. We all fall.”

I didn’t think this could get any better until “Powdersaurus the mini musical” came out.
The couple behind this cuteness lives in Tacoma. They take their two kids on all kinds of adventures. On their blog and IG posts the husband offers advice on how to prepare the whole family by setting realistic expectations, bringing proper gear, and snacks, lots of snacks.

I feel like these are life lessons we could all use, even as adults.

Am I hungry? Do I need to take a rest break? How can I have more fun?!?!

LOVE Your Neck!

Do you suffer from neck pain?

Want a long-term relief plan that goes way beyond “stretching”?

Join us Saturday February 12th at 11 am PT to learn how you can reduce wrist pain, and have freedom of movement in your neck and shoulders!

  • Who: YOU!
  • What: LOVE Your Neck Workshop
  • When: Saturday February 12th at 11 am – 12 pm PT
  • Where: ON Zoom
  • Why: Give your neck some TLC!
  • How: Click here to order.

Free for Fit Club members, $20 for guests.

We will chat for a few minutes about prevention and treatment of neck, shoulder, and wrist issues – how do you sit at your computer, how much time do you spend hunched over your phone, how do you sleep?

We will then go through a R.O.S.S. neck program, releasing tightness, cueing the small organizational muscles, strengthening, then stretching neck, shoulders, and wrists.

You will need two tennis balls or massage balls, and a towel, or exercise band.

Can’t make it live? Sign up for the workshop and I’ll send you the recording.

Give Blood!

Blood banks are dangerously low right now.

Can you join us in donating blood this month?

  • Who: Anne, Eric, you, and your friends!
  • What: Donate blood.
  • When: Saturday February 19th at 2 pm.
  • Where: Kingpins bowling alley/ arcade/ restaurant 3550 SE 92nd Ave, Portland, 97266
  • Why: You like helping others and having fun!
  • How: Schedule your appointment, then let me know to be on the lookout for you.

Kingpins recently hosted our weekly Chamber meeting.

This is a huge, bright, open, recently remodeled space with delightful staff. While 7:30 am was a little early for beer and air hockey, I was looking for a reason to come back since it looks like tons of fun! They have bowling of course, plus a game room and bar/restaurant.

Join us for a blood donation followed by games!

Here’s how to schedule your appointment.

  1. Click this link that takes you to the Red Cross website.
  2. Type 97202 in the zip code, and click the big red “find a drive” button.
  3. Click “refine search”, then “choose my dates”, then click on the 19th on the calendar.
  4. Scroll to the bottom and click “refine results”.
  5. Kingpins should be the first option that pops up.
  6. Click the red “see times” button, then pick your time.

Please note that I signed the two of us up today and those two 2 pm spots are now gone, so if you want to meet us you should sign up ASAP!

Pick any appointment between 1:15 and 2:45, then let me know to be on the lookout for you.
This will take about an hour (your blood donation, that is, not the signup. That’s super quick and easy).

xoxo
